Legal basis of Korea News Agency Commission

Law on the promotion of news agencies (Article 26-4, Management)
The chairman shall be designated by the President, The executive board will have five members, of whom three are nominated by the National Assembly speaker with recommendations from floor negotiating groups. The two others are from media outlets, one from print and the other from broadcasting media.
